Councillors

Parish Councils' are the first tier of local government.  Councillors are either elected or co-opted to represent the residents of their Parish and have statutory duties and responsibilities.  Watermead Parish Council has 7 councillor positions serving the parish of Watermead and they are assisted by the Clerk and Assistant Clerk to the Council. 

The Parish Council meets the 3rd Thursday of the month (excluding August & December) and all council meetings are open to the public.  There is always an opportunity for members of the public to speak at the beginning of each meeting to raise any questions or items for future agenda's. 

Members' Code of Conduct
All Parish Councillors abide by the Members' Code of Conduct which was adopted by Watermead Parish Council in November 2012.
